The West Roxbury female suspect had applied for a restraining order against the Roslindale man the day before. The following info is provided by the Boston Police, and where charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

A West Roxbury woman and a Roslindale man were allegedly caught engaged in public sex in the grass between the Shaw's and Catholic Memorial playing field while a practice was occurring.

On Sept. 25, Amy E. Hanson, of 26 Sanborn Ave., West Roxbury, and Andrew F. Giacoppo, of 181 Orange St., Roslindale, were arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious speech and behavior around 5:58 p.m.

Boston Police detectives were in the Shaw's parking lot looking to serve Giacoppo with a restraining order that Hanson had filed against him one day earlier due to an alleged vandalism incident of Hanson's vehicle by Giacoppo, according to a Boston Police report. Police saw her vehicle in the parking lot. Then police found the two suspects on the grass in front of the fence that borders Catholic Memorial's track and playing field.

Giacoppo's pants were allegedly around his ankles while atop the pantsless woman, who was laying on her back on the ground. Police told the suspects, both in their 40s, to get up and dressed. Officers noted next to the suspects were several open cans of Budweiser, a black plastic bag with five cans of unopened Bud, and half-full bottle of 200-ml Captain Morgan.

Police could see a soccer practice being played by high school aged students, and the CM track field about 50 feet from the position of the incident. The MBTA commuter rail was also nearby and visible of the incident.

Detectives confirmed that Hanson had a restraining order against Giacoppo. The couple were arrested and booked without incident. The alcohol was seized as evidence.

On Sept. 27, Boston Police made an arrest of Giacoppo for a default warrant for his arrest on lewd and lascivious conduct from Sept. 25. Giacoppo was arrested without incident in the rear parking lot area of the Shaw's parking lot.

Officers noted that Giacoppo allegedly said he was "kicked out of court" because he "was mean and very drunk." The officer noted in the report that it seems Giacoppo has been intoxicated everytime he's encountered him.
