Customer's iPhone Stolen While at Dunkin' Donuts in West Roxbury

A victim reported to Boston Police that her iPhone was stolen by an unknown person while at a Dunkin' Donuts in West Roxbury.

The victim said the incident happened around 7:15 a.m. on March 30 at the Dunkin' Donuts at 1630 VFW Parkway, according to a Boston Police report. The victim said she placed the phone on the front counter while waiting for her order. She noticed her iPhone was missing when she got back to her daughter's home.

The mother and daughter team said they returned to Dunkin' Donuts to look for the phone, and that an employee looked at the surveillance video and they witnessed a suspect take the victim's phone, according to a Boston Police report.

The victim told police the video showed the suspect standing behind her in line, and then taking her iPhone, also known as "apple-picking."
