Boston Police were able to catch two suspects who allegedly ransacked a Carrolton Road home in West Roxbury.
On Nov. 5 around 11:12 a.m., Marckenley Casimir, of 4 Violet St., Mattapan, was arrested and charged with one count of breaking and entering of a house and one count of a class D drug, marijuana, with the intent to distribute, and two counts of attempted breaking and entering of a residence; Jean Niclas, of 48 Freemont St. #1, Mattapan, was arrested and charged with one count of breaking and entering of a house, two counts of attempted breaking and entering.
Police were called to 40 Carrolton Road for a breaking and entering in progress. Descriptions of the two suspects were broadcast, and while en route, officers in a cruiser noted two suspects who matched the descriptions at 5254 Washington St. Officers got out of the car, and approached the suspects.
While speaking with the suspects, two witnesses were brought to the scene and positively identified the suspects.
One witness said she heard unknown suspects attempting to enter her house at 40 Carrolton Road, while she was showering, according to a Boston Police report. That witness said when she was done showering, she saw the two suspects exiting her neighbor's house at 36 Carrolton Road, and jump the fence.
During a search, Casimir was allegedly found to have five bags of marijuana. He was also allegedly found to have a Rolex men's watch with a brown leather strap, on gold-colored Timex watch, a women's Bugle Boy watch, a bracelet, necklace and cash.
Niclas was found with a HP laptop that one of the witnesses said was stolen from their home, jewelry, and three large plastic bags containing change, according to a police report.
Officers noticed signs of a forced entry on a rear kitchen window at 36 Carrolton Road. Police found a size 10 medium Timberland bootprint by the rear basement door, which allegedly matched one of the suspect's bootprints.
Police noticed the house was ransacked with drawers and cabinets open in every room.
