Home Depot Employee Arrested on Stealing $10K of Merchandise During Overnight Shifts

Boston Police arrested a Roslindale man for stealing more than $10,000 worth of Home Depot merchandise while working overnight shifts.
On Feb. 22, around 11 p.m., Jermaine Albert Reid, of 27 Bradeen St., Roslindale, was arrested on a warrant for larceny by stealing in a building out of West Roxbury District Court.

On Feb. 7 a Boston Police detective met with a Home Depot district asset protection manager about several larcenies that have occurred the past several months by an employee during the overnight shift. A security video clearly showed the suspect removing merchandise, according to a Boston Police report, and a warrant was sought for his arrest.
On Feb. 19, the suspect allegedly removed a cart from the store with a generator valued at $699 and a tool kit valued at $399. Video of this incident was being forwarded to Boston Police.
