Boston Police were called to Macy's and spoke to the manager who said the suspect, knowing his first name only, entered the store and stole a $30 bottle of Jack Daniel's Whiskey. The manager said the suspect then drove away on a bicycle, according to a police report. Police were informed the suspect was banned from the store after allegedly assaulting an employee one night earlier.

Officers familiar with the suspect tracked him back to his home on Park Street and observed a newly opened bottle of Jack Daniel's Whiskey in the hallway. The suspect said he was in the store, but said he did not steal the whiskey. He was then arrested for shoplifting.

The suspect was very intoxicated, and passive aggressive with the officers, and refused to get into the cruiser. During booking the suspect allegedly was uncooperative and began stripping his clothes off, according to a police report. He was then placed in a holding cell where he then stripped naked again. Police persuaded the suspect to put his clothes back on, which he did, said a police report.

The whiskey was poured out and discarded and documented in the arrest report.
