Man on Bench Tells Police There is a Warrant Out for Him
Police were called to the area of 1834 Centre St. for two young males possibly doing drugs. The following information is provided by the BPD, and where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
A Roxbury man quickly told Boston Police there was a warrant for his arrest, after being approached by cops on Saturday.
Around 5:10 p.m., police arrested Jamison MacPhail, of 37 Juniper St., Roxbury, on a default warrant out of Quincy District Court for drug possession.

District E-5 officers were following up a call for two men possibly doing drugs on the pathway by 1834 Centre St. As police approached, they noticed one male leaving the area. The other man was sitting on a bench and appeared to be nodding off, according to a police report.
Police told the man why they were there, and the suspect acknowledge he understood. The suspect was then asked by police if he had ever been arrested, to which the man allegedly replied there is a warrant out for him due to not going to court three days prior. A computer database query confirmed the suspect's story.
