Maplewood Street Apartment Robbed During Daytime in West Roxbury

The following article is based on a Boston Police report.


A Maplewood Street apartment was broken into during the daytime and robbed of at least a computer in West Roxbury.

The victim told Boston Police that he/she went out front 8 to 10 a.m. on July 17 and upon return found his/her apartment door broken, according to a Boston Police report. Officers found the locking mechanism for the door a couple feet away from the door, wood splinters on the floor, and damage to the door frame.

A laptop was missing from the apartment at 7 Maplewood St., and items in a bedroom closet and living room were thrown around.
