Neighbors Raising Money for Residents Affected by Recent West Roxbury Fire

Six adults and two children were displaced after a fire destroyed their LaGrange Street home on Wednesday.

A group of West Roxbury residents is working to raise money for six adults and two children who were displaced after a three-alarm fire destroyed their two-story home on LaGrange Street Wednesday night. 

Boston fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze on Wednesday, June 4, which left one firefighter injured and caused about $500,000 in damages, and the residents of the building were displaced as a result. 

As of Friday, June 6, a YouCaring.com fundraising page organized by West Roxbury residents had received $2,175 toward its goal of $5,000 in donations to support those affected.
