Police Break Up Party After 15-Year-Old Comes Home Drunk

Police estimated about 50 to 75 people were in the rear of 745 Lagrange Street, and seized 13 bottles of sealed assorted beer.

Police broke up a Lagrange Street party after a concerned parent called to say his 15-year-old daughter came home intoxicated from the party's location.

Around 12:52 a.m. on June 2, police saw about 50 to 75 individuals in the rear of 745 Lagrange St., according to a Boston Police report. The party quickly dispersed into the surrounding area, once police Police showed up. Officers believed most of the party goers to be in their late teens or early 20s.

Police spoke with a 19-year-old female resident of the home who said she invited a few friends over and did not know the majority of the people who were there. Police saw numerous empty boxes of alcohol and several full sealed bottles. The woman told police her parents were away in Maine for the weekend, and that a few people in the party were of the legal drinking age.

Officers told the resident she would be summonsed to the West Roxbury District Court for a minor in possession of alcohol and providing alcohol to minors. Police seized 13 bottles of sealed, assorted containers of beer from the rear of the residence.

I live on the next street over and these lovely children dumped beer cans in our yard empty and full. Also made themselves at home in our yard apparently relaxing on our lawn furniture. Bet she wont be left alone again.

O my God, the agony, the nerve, these young wiper snappers should be hung or shot by firing squad. Calm down lady, someone sitting on your lawn furniture is a lot less provoking than your neighbor’s dog defecating on your lawn. Underage kids’ drinking is nothing new, in fact now a day I would encourage this form of behavior. Drinking is a lot less harmful than what half of our neighborhoods 20 something’s are on. The inability for the adult population of West Roxbury to recognize that our town has a serious problem with opiates is nauseating and frightening. Never in West Roxbury right!

Hello Tish - I'd be annoyed too if someone trespassed onto my property, messed with my stuff and littered. And they dumped full beer on your property? Some would say that's a criminal offense in itself. I'm glad they didn't damage anything. I do wonder if her parents find out... Thank you for your comment. David

Opiates /heroin are in every community in MA. and affects any socio-economic group. This is an issue that is impacting this new generation. Parents be responsible with your medications and keep locked-up. What I have witnessed as a healthcare provider; it is very difficult to overcome this addiction. ETOH is still an issue and affects families as well. I see it as a drug that is just as worse as cigarettes. John, let's remember all of these kids probably did not walk to the party.
