Roche Bros Employee Stops Suspects from Stealing $300+ of Baby Formula

The following article is based on a Boston Police report.

A Roche Bros employee in West Roxbury was able to stop two suspects from trying to steal more than $300 worth of baby formula.

On Aug. 23 around 10:32 p.m., Boston Police spoke with an employee who alleged two suspects entered the store with large shopping bags and went to the Enfamil area and filled one of the bags with $368.81 of the product and exited the store without paying, according to a Boston Police report.

The employee approached the suspects and after a brief struggle the employee recovered the stolen goods. Both suspects fled on foot towards Belgrade Avenue.

A surveillance video was to be turned over to Boston Police, as Roche Bros would like this crime to be investigated as they've had several incidents of this nature recently, according to a police report.
