Seven Cars Towed on Roslindale Day Parade Route; Some in Holy Name Rotary

On Sunday morning before the Roslindale Day Parade, officers were assigned to "tag and tow any vehicle on the parade route.

 

Seven vehicles were towed on Sunday morning because they were on the Roslindale Day Parade route, including vehicles in the Holy Name Rotary in West Roxbury.

According to a Boston Police report, five District E-5 Boston Police personnel were "given a station assignment to tag and tow any vehicle on the parade route..."

The police went out around 7:57 a.m., before the parade was to step off Washington Street at 1 p.m.

The vehicles were towed on several roads due to no parking because of the parade in both Roslindale and West Roxbury, as the parade goes through the Holy Name Rotary in West Roxbury.
