Police were called for two males around 701 West Roxbury Parkway in West Roxbury, checking car doors parked in the street and driveways. The witness told police she called out to the suspects, as they crossed the parkway and went onto Beech Street in Roslindale, according to a Boston Police report.

Officers observed two males described as the suspects in front of 293 Beech Street and approached the men to perform a field interrogation. The suspect, Homen, was carrying a Brooks Brothers bag with three Brooks Brothers shirts and a necktie, and from tags attached, totaled $343.50. The suspect allegedly said his girlfriend had given him the bag earlier in the day and could not produce a receipt, or when or where he received the bag. Police also found two rings in his pants pockets, and the suspect could not prove they were his, said a police report.
