West Roxbury Man Arrested for Heroin in Roslindale Burger King

A West Roxbury man was arrested on Monday morning on multiple outstanding warrants and heroin possession after detectives observed him with drugs at a Roslindale Burger King.

Alexios Tambasidis, 16 Meshaka Street, West Roxbury was arrested just after 11:15 a.m. on Monday after members of the Boston Police E5 Drug Control Unit were conducting surveillance in and around the Beechland Housing Development. 

Officers Observed Tambasidis on and off his phone while pacing in and around Washington St visually scanning traffic, police said.

When Tambasidis entered the Burger King on Washington Street, police noticed him placing an item that he had in right hand into his left outer cell phone pocket in his jacket. 

Officers conducted an inquiry on Tambasidis  found that he had seven outstanding warrants for drug possessions and intent to distribute, drug distributions, a Drug violation near a school/park  and breaking and entering and destruction of property over $250.

During the arrest police found a tan powdery substance believed to be Heroin from the suspect's left front cell phone pocket. He was additionally charged with drug possession, according to the police log.
