West Roxbury Man Arrested on Warrant for Selling Marijuana

Boston Police arrested a West Roxbury man in Hyde Park on a warrant for allegedly selling drugs.

On April 25 at 8 p.m., Cesar Orlando Gonzalez, of 37 Desoto Road, West Roxbury, was arrested on default warrant out of West Roxbury District Court issued on March 14, 2013, for possession of a class D drug (marijuana) with the intent to distribute.

Police made an on-site arrest of the suspect in the area of Dana and Easton avenues in Hyde Park, according to a Boston Police report.

The warrant stems from the suspect's arrest on March 5, 2012, at the area of Grouse and Washington streets in West Roxbury. During that arrest, police allegedly seized a plastic bag of marijuana, $86 in cash, and "hide-a-can" - a concealing container that looks like a Coca-Cola can, according to a Boston Police report.
