West Roxbury Man Arrested on Warrant Issued in 1999

The following information was provided by the Boston Police, and where charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Boston Police arrested a West Roxbury man on a warrant for his arrest from 1999 after being called to investigate the man at a Glenellen Road residence in West Roxbury.

On Nov. 30 around 10:09 p.m., James J. Nye, of 35 Glenellen Road, West Roxbury, was arrested on a warrant from June 11, 1999, from the Plymouth District Court for unlicensed operation, OUI-liquor, and a lights violation.

Police were called by a neighbor about the suspect, who lives with his mother. The suspect was allegedly drunk, according to a Boston Police report. Police were concerned because the suspect takes care of his elderly mother who suffers from Alzheimers. Due to their concern, police contacted the Elder Abuse Hotline to file a report.
