West Roxbury Man Charged with Urinating on Neighbor's Door

A naked West Roxbury man who allegedly knocked on his neighbor's door, and then urinated on the door, was arrested on Sunday.

On Sept. 9 around 2:52 p.m., police arrested Robert F. Pohl, of 9 Carol Circle Apt. B5, of West Roxbury, and charged him with open and gross lewdness.

Police visited 9 Carol Circle twice within 30 minutes after receiving a text message about a naked man exposing himself to his neighbor. The victim told police her male neighbor was banging on her door, and when she looked through the peephole the neighbor sprayed something on the peephole while completely naked, according to a Boston Police report.

Officers first went to the suspect's apartment, knocking, announcing themselves, but no one answered. Two different officers came back and spoke with the victim, who alleged that her naked neighbor, who lives on the same floor, was knocking on her door trying to get her attention, and in doing so, he urinated on her door and doormat.

Police knocked on the door of the suspect again, and after 10 minutes the suspect answered the door wearing blue jeans, no shirt, no shoes and his zipper open, according to a Boston Police report. The officers noticed a strong odor of urine and alcohol coming from the suspect, which led police to believe that he had been in the hallway naked and urinated on the victim's door and doormat.
