Two Vehicles Removed from Flooded Stretch in Spring Street Area

A woman is reportedly stuck in a car stuck in flooding by the Shaw's in West Roxbury Sunday morning, according to Twitter report.

Two vehicles were stuck in a flooded stretch in the Spring Street area Sunday morning in West Roxbury, according to police.

Before 10 a.m. police and fire units responded to the Spring Street area near Temple and Baker Streets on reports of two vehicles stuck in flooding, according to Officer Joe Martinez.

Both vehicles, including one driven by a woman previously reported as being stuck in the flooding, were able to be removed from the high waters, and units are now blocking of that area of the city, according to Martinez. DPW was also notified about the flooding, he added.

No one was injured during the incidents.
