Boston Officials Support Candidate for Lt. Governor at West Roxbury Event

Former Mayor Thomas Menino and other officials are supporting Steve Kerrigan Lt. Governor.

Several Boston officials are backing Steve Kerrigan for Lt. Governor, and gathered to show support for the candidate in West Roxbury this month. 

Former Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, State Rep. Ed Coppinger (D-West Roxbury), State Rep. Paul McMurtry (D-Dedham), Boston City Councilor Tim McCarthy and former City Councilors Rob Consalvo and John Tobin hosted an event in support of Kerrigan at the West Roxbury Elks Lodge on Tuesday, May 20

Kerrigan currently serves as the Vice President of the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund, which offers support for families of fallen military service members who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also served as a former chief of staff to Attorney General Tom Reilly, CEO of the 2012 Democratic National Convention and CEO of President Obama's second inauguration.

Kerrigan has also recently received support from the Massachusetts Teachers Association, as well as several officials from the South Shore.
