Boston Teams to Visit West Roxbury for Door to Door Annual Listing

The "City Census" is currently underway.

Teams of representatives from Boston's Board of Election Commissioners will be making their way into West Roxbury in the coming weeks for the city's annual "door-to-door listing" of residents, Boston officials announced

The listing, also known as the "City Census," is currently underway, beginning in East Boston and will subsequently move into Charlestown, West Roxbury and the Allston-Brighton neighborhoods before moving onto other areas of the city this summer, according to the announcement.

"All Election Department listers will work in teams and will be clearly identifiable by their distinctive orange mesh vests," officials said in a statement. "Each team member will also wear a photo identification badge issued by the city of Boston. The listers will be confirming the residency of Bostonians ages 17 and over."
