City Council Candidates Meet in West Roxbury on Friday

Friday's forum will give the candidates a great opportunity to address issues of importance to seniors and their caregivers.

District 6 City Councilor Matt O'Malley and challenger Luis Valerio will participate in a “Stand up for Seniors - Coffee and Conversation with the Candidates” on Friday in West Roxbury.

Residents will get to hear each candidate speak and will be able to ask them questions.

The forum  will give the candidates a great opportunity to address issues of importance to seniors, their caregivers, seniors in the greater community and all who care about the quality of life of our senior population in the City of Boston,  according to the West Roxbury Business and Professional Association.

The forum will be hosted by the Deutsches Altenheim German Centre, the West Roxbury Business and Professional Association and Ethos-Age.

It will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 25 at Deutsches Altenheim German Centre Holtzer Auditorium on 2222 Centre Street in West Roxbury.

District 6 encompasses West Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and parts of Roslindale, Roxbury and the Back of the Hill.

O'Malley will face-off against Valerio on the ballot on November 5.
