Council Candidate Jeff Ross Knocking Doors in West Roxbury

South End's Jeff Ross is running for at-large Boston City Council.

With West Roxbury residents historically being one of the highest voting demographics in Boston, plenty of candidates are knocking on doors, like at-large Boston City Council candidate Jeff Ross.

Ross recently met supporter Alejandra St. Guillen at her Chapin Street home for a meet and greet with local supporters. Ross and his supporters then canvassed the neighborhood for two hours.

"We have a great group of supporters in West Roxbury and i was thrilled to be out knocking on doors in the neighborhood and meeting with folks to hear about their vision for Boston and West Roxbury," said Ross. "It's always so energizing to talk to residents door to door. I had great conversations with new supporters who really shared their concerns. Whether it's public safety, transportation options or education, voters are definitely plugged in to what's happening in the city. Our campaign is growing and we're proud of all of our support in West Roxbury."

"I'm proud to support Jeff Ross for Boston City Council At-Large. As a friend for over a decade and as a neighborhood activist for 19 years, I've known Jeff to be someone who has worked to make Boston more inclusive and a more vibrant city.  Jeff is working hard to earn votes in West Roxbury and across Boston, and he's someone who we can count on to empower small businesses, work for Boston jobs for Boston residents and to make the schools strong for our children today and tomorrow," said  Michael Loconto, former board director for West Roxbury Main Streets.
