Developer Agrees to Reduce Size of Proposed Residential Plan on Lagrange Street
Residents are opposing a current plan to construct an apartment building at the corner of Lagrange and Center streets.
The developer looking to replace the Armstrong Pharmaceuticals factory on Lagrange Street with apartments agreed to reduce the number of units and potentially change the layout at a community meeting Tuesday.
A representative with Charles River Realty on Tuesday listened to residents argue the project and agreed to potentially make the residences condos and add more parking to the area, according to Universal Hub.
The project as it stands calls for 62 apartments and 52 parking spaces in new buildings to be constructed on the site, which City Councilor Matt O'Malley said he would not support, according to the report.

The developer said he plans to come back before residents with a smaller plan before looking for formal approval from the West Roxbury Neighbrhood Council, according to the report.
