Due to only two candidates running for the District 6 Boston City Council seat, incumbent Matt O'Malley and his challenger, Luis Valerio, advanced directly to the November election.
Current District 6 Boston City Councilor Matt O'Malley, of Jamaica Plain, spoke with West Roxbury Patch before the recent West Roxbury candidates night. Luis Valerio, of West Roxbury, spoke at the meeting.
Both of them offered why they are running to be your city councilor. District 6 includes West Roxbury, Jamaica Plain and a small part of Roslindale and Mission Hill.
