Lord Mayor Gormley Meets with Irish President Higgins
Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and Irish President Michael Higgins met with Lord Mayor Richie Gormley today.
and Irish President Michael D. Higgins met with today at the Parkman House on Beacon Street.
This is Higgins’s first official visit to Boston. Higgins, the ninth president of Ireland after taking office in November of last year, will also speak at Faneuil Hall on Saturday and lay a wreath at the Irish Famine Memorial.
