Who Won Latest Debate: Scott Brown or Elizabeth Warren?

Held in Springfield, this debate focused more on issues, less on personal attacks.

Vital issues core to this race for the U.S. Senate — taxes, healthcare, soaring higher education costs, abortion, insurance coverage of contraception — were the focus of last night's debate between Sen. Scott Brown and challenger Elizabeth Warren.

And, of course, there were different views of which candidate accomplished the most in this penultimate debate. The final debate between them is scheduled for Oct. 30.

Who do you think 'won' last night's debate? Tell us in the comments section below.

Just curious. A question to those of you wondering about Warren's being fit to serve the middle class because of her own level of income. Does this mean that you will be voting for someone other than Romney and Obama because of their financial status? Also, does Warren have some kind of blocking of memories from her modest upbringing that I missed in the press reports? The Bush's have tremendous personal wealth but that didn't stop white working class voters from voting for Sr and Jr because they truly beloved they had their backs while Ted Kennedy had great wealth and did champion middle and low income issues. A candidates personal income is not really a valid argument in a capitalistic system. I believe you have to take it individual by individual and see where the have put their efforts.

I just thought it was refreshing to actually hear a debare on this issues facing Massachusetts residents instead of the back & forth by both candidates of a personal nature so in that respect the winner of the debate were those watching it I will say one comment though that really bothered me and it was when Brown replied to a question with the comment of serving in Afghanistan. Brown has every right to be proud of his years in the National Guard. Yes, Techically he did serve in Afghanistan but it was a little over a week at best. There is serve and then there is SERVE as those who have done multiple tours there, those who have physical or mental injuries from serving there and those who do even one tour are away from their families for at least a year. I'd like to think it was just a poor choice of words on his part You just can't say one week there puts you on the same level as the many others in the National Guard or the military who have been there

They find themselves in that awful position because they bit off far more than they could chew. While it was easy for them to get approved for something they couldn't afford, why is that the lenders fault? What happened to taking responsibility for your own actions? Cry me a freakin' river. If I sign up for Comcast Premium and can't afford to pay the $200 it costs and my cable gets turned off, that's Comcast's fault? Please. The ones in bankruptcy are to blame, nobody else. Furthermore, EW is far from the real deal. She claims to be "one of you" (middle class), when she is far from it. I don't give a rats a$$ whether she is worth $15 or $15MM. She refuses to acknowledge that she is a 1%er, continually points fingers at the demographic that she belongs and has so many people fooled that she's out to fight for the good of MA residents. She has no mind of her own and was thrown into the fight for MA Senator when she got a taste of the DC machine. The same machine telling her to try and take back Teddy's seat. We all know she is a puppet that will ALWAYS vote party line. G'day.

As soon as Brown won this seat Obama's team hand picked Warren to run this election ( appointments ect.) she has not been fighting for me or my family!! The rest of you can vote as you are told, I will vote for a balance in Washington. In all fairness Lizzie took this One but I will not lie..she tells way too many for my tastes!

Warren finally won a debate on style. In my biased opinion, I think she won all of them on substance - but finally got one on style. Here's to hoping it pays off in the election. She will be a terrific Senator for us.
