Beethoven School Students Launch Daffodil Plantings Citywide
More than 80 civic and volunteer groups are planting 40,000 daffodil bulbs thanks to the Boston Parks and Recreation Department.
Local Parkway youngsters dug in on October 13 at the Beethoven Elementary School in West Roxbury helping launch the citywide Boston Blooms daffodil planting initiative.
More than 80 civic and volunteer groups are planting 40,000 bulbs provided by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department on public property this past weekend and this coming as part of Mayor Thomas Menino’s ongoing urban beautification program.
