Catholic Memorial School Presents 'Damn Yankees'

Come out and cheer for the Yankees, 'Damn Yankees' being put on by CM.

“Damn Yankees” comes to the stage on Wednesday, April 11 for one night only. Featuring some of the school’s finest vocal and instrumental talents, the light-hearted musical will also star female leads from several local schools.

The story of a man who sells his soul to the devil in exchange for the chance to beat the perennially successful Yankees, the musical, written by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, will be directed by CM fine arts chair Craig Spaner. The musical was the 1956 winner of the Tony Award for Best Musical.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5.  The show will take place at 7pm on April 11 on the campus of Catholic Memorial, at 235 Baker St., in West Roxbury.

Past productions on the CM stage in recent years have included "Les Miserables," "Grease", and "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying".
