West Roxbury Student Named to Worcester Polytechnic Institute Dean's List

A total of 1,303 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for WPI's fall 2013 Dean's List.

A student from West Roxbury has been named to the Dean's List at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), according to an announcement this week.

Olive Rappoli, of West Roxbury, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2013 semester.

A total of 1,303 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for WPI's fall 2013 Dean's List, according to the announcement. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities, as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA) but rather defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects, according to the announcement.
