Parkway Nationals Earn Final 4 in East Coast Nationals Tourney

The squad bested six other top teams to make it to the Final 4 in the 2013 East Coast Nationals Tournament

Parkway baseball teams continue to prove how the area is a hotbed for talent. This year's Parkway National U-12 baseball team carried the torch this summer and didn't disappoint.

The squad bested six other top teams to make it to the Final 4 in the 2013 East Coast Nationals Tournament in Long Island, NY this past weekend. Parkway eventually lost in the semifinals to the champs from Poughkeepsie, NY, but they won two exciting games including a walk-off slaughter win featuring a grand slam by Josh Sharek and great pitching by Cam Kelly.

Also prominent in the wins were players Kyle Lake, Nolan Boczkowski, Jack McMahon, Richie Fleming, Charlie McGillicuddy, Gabe Duffy, Kevin Bruen, Owen Gaffney and Aiden Donnelly.

The team is led by manager Kevin “Biz” Boczkowski, and assistant coaches Greg Lake and Billy Kelly, with special assistance by Dick Dale.
