The Red Sox Foundation visited seven VA hospitals in New England the week of May 13 to honor veterans in celebration of Veteran’s Affairs Week as part of the Red Sox’ “100 Acts of Kindness” program.

According to a press relase, the visits were part of the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital’s Home Base Program, which was created in 2009 to help inform and educate the New England community about combat stress and traumatic brain injury.
