West Roxbury to Play in First Thanksgiving Day Game
West Roxbury will head to Randolph on Thanksgiving morning.
The West Roxbury football team will finally play on Thanksgiving Day.
WR Urban Science Academy is set for a Thanksgiving matchup against Randolph next Thursday morning.
“We wanted a Thanksgiving game, so when Randolph offered to play, we picked it up,” West Roxbury coach Derek Wright told the Boston Globe.

West Roxbury finished in third place in the City League North Division, with a 3-2 league record and currently have a (3-7) overall record, according to MaxPreps.com.
Randolph (0-11) is looking for their first win of the season and will hope to win it on their home turf at Randolph High School.

“We’re just practicing hard, and going over the things we’ve been doing all year long,” Randolph coach Keith Ford told the Globe.
