Gordon's Woods Employees to Volunteer at Rosie's Place

The West Roxbury Friends of Rosie's Place Annual Dinner is on March 10 at St. George's.

 

Four employees from Gordon's Woods, an Energy Star-certified development on the VFW Parkway in West Roxbury, will spend an upcoming Friday afternoon volunteering at Rosie's Place. 

"We are so excited to be helping out at Rosie's Place," said Kerri Bonarrigo, the director of sales at Gordon's Woods. "It is a great organization and we feel that it is very important to give back to the community in which we work."

Rosie's Place is a non-profit organization providing homeless women with meals, shelter, and emergency assistance. 

As employees have done before, Gordon's Woods team will spend their time at Rosie's Place. This time working in the food pantry; escorting shoppers, handing out produce, restocking shelves and organizing pre-made bags of groceries.  

In addition to volunteering at the food pantry, Gordon's Woods is also holding a toiletry drive to benefit the women of Rosie's Place. If you would like to participate in this drive, please contact Kerri Bonarrigo 617-412-3250.
