Nonpartisan Truman Rally Planning Meeting on Tuesday

The Democrat and Republican Ward 20 committees are working in conjunction together to put on this year's Truman Rally.

 

Last fall West Roxbury politicians brought back the , which had been defunct for several years. Expect this fall's rally to be bigger and rally organizers are looking for residents to get involved with the nonpartisan rally.

A planning meeting for the 2012 Truman Rally will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, May 8) at 7 p.m. in the and Restaurant Function Room.

This is a collaborative planning meeting with the Ward 20 Democratic and Ward 20 Republican committees, as well as state Rep. Ed Coppinger, D-West Roxbury, and West Roxbury's District Councilor Matt O'Malley.

Anyone interested in helping plan this year’s community political rally on the night before Election Day are encouraged to attend. US Senator Scott Brown, R-MA, and candidate Elizabeth Warren will be invited to speak at the Truman Rally in November.
