Boston Ward 20 Democratic Committee Meeting

Boston's Ward 20 Democratic Committee invites Democratic candidates who will be running for statewide office this year to a meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. in the West Roxbury Pub Function Room, 1885 Centre St., in West Roxbury  All are welcome to attend. 

West Roxbury YMCA Schedule

Parkway Running Club Group Runs

If you're a regular runner and want to join others on your morning or evening jogs, the Parkway Running Club holds regular group runs throughout the week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Visit the Parkway Running Club website for full schedules and information on how to become a member.

Handwriting Improvement Workshops

The Top Banana Education Foundation, located at 56 Winchester St. in Newton is offering a six-week remediation course for students who need help with handwriting. The course is for students who need help forming their letters and/or numbers so they are neat, orderly, legibly and spaced appropriately. The next class is Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 5 p.m.

Digital Photography Editing

Get familiar with the industry-standard tool for digital imaging with a course that aims to show you how to make the most of what Photoshop has to offer. The workshop takes place at the Boston Neighborhood Network, 3025 Washington St., Charles J. Beard II Media Center, in Boston. For more information, click here.
