World Series Victory Parade

The Boston Red Sox victory parade will be held in Boston on Saturday. The parade starts at Fenway Park at 10 a.m. and will head down Boylston Street from the Fens through Back Bay, turning onto Tremont Street and heading toward City Hall Plaza.

Open House

Children's Happy Day School  families to an open house on Saturday November 2, 2013 from 9 am to 12 pm at the Pre-k and early childhood school at 5 Charles Park Road-West Roxbury, Ma 02132.

Harvest Brunch

A Harvest Brunch and Raffle to benefit Rosie’s Place will be held Sunday at the West Roxbury Pub & Restaurant from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Mayor Thomas Menino and Angela Menino will be the special guests. 

Harvest Bazaar

A Harvest Bazaar  will be held Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9-3 p.m. at the German Center at 2222 Centre Street.  The event will include a free German meal.

Street Hockey Benefit

A six-team men’s street hockey tournament will be held Sat., Nov. 2 as a benefit for West Roxbury's Mark Delamere, who was seriously injured in a horrendous Sept. 6 Arboway crash.   The tournament will be held at Fallon Field in Roslindale from 7:45 a.m.  to 5 p.m. 

Appreciation Celebration

Free food, face painting, and prizes will be a part of the Eastern Bank Community’s Appreciation Celebration on Saturday, November 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at 2029 Centre Street and Lagrange Street.

Library Exhibit

The “Hope and Inspiration: Calligraphy by Jan Boyd” will be on exhibit until Friday at the West Roxbury Branch of the Boston Public Library. 


Trivia will be held at West on Centre on Sunday night.
