Halloween Party, Trivia, Farmers Market in West Roxbury This Weekend

A look at the weekend events in West Roxbury.

Trivia

Every Sunday you can head to West on Centre for trivia at 8 p.m. Up to six people per team.  Prizes vary from gift certificates, to T-shirts, to Red Sox tickets, or anything else the restaurant can think of. 

Meet City Councilor Candidates 

District 6 City Councilor Matt O'Malley and challenger Luis Valerio will participate in a “Stand up for Seniors - Coffee and Conversation with the Candidates” on Friday at 2 p.m. at Deutsches Altenheim German Centre Holtzer Auditorium on 2222 Centre Street in West Roxbury. 

Halloween Party

The Boston Police District E-5 Police Station in West Roxbury will throw a children’s Halloween party for the community on Oct. 25 from 5-8 p.m. at the Station at 1708 Centre Street.

Farmers Market

The Corey Street Farmers Market will be held Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of Temple Hillel B’nai Torah at 120 Corey St.

Weekend Brunch

Himalayan Bistro on Centre Street will hold a weekend brunch from 11:30  a.m. to  3 p.m.

Pet Parade & Costume Contest

Pet Supplies Plus is making Halloween special for pets and their owners this year. The West Roxbury Pet Shop will hold a Treats for Tricks – Pet Parade & Costume Contest this Saturday, Oct. 26 at 12 p.m. at its VFW Parkway location for all dogs and cats.

Costume Contest

Lord's & Lady's invites customers to dress up and come to their salon on Saturday at 11 a.m.  A fashion TV photographer will be on hand taking photos and customers are encouraged to vote for the very best costume.
