'Pub Night' in West Roxbury to Benefit Boston Marathon Charities

The event, which will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, will feature raffles and live music by Saoirse Nua.

Residents in and around the area are invited to help raise money for the Dana Farber Marathon Challenge in West Roxbury this Friday, Feb. 28. 

Starting at 7 p.m., a fundraiser will be held at the Irish Social Club of Boston in West Roxbury to help support Clare Twist, who has run the Boston Marathon for the last 20 years for the Dana Farber Marathon Challenge, according to an announcement from the Irish Social Club. 

Proceeds from the event will also benefit Dara Flaherty, who is running his first marathon this April with the Boston Fire Department in support of the Kenney/Quinn/Ford Foundation, according to the announcement.
