JP Girls Night Out
The Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain is bringing in Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers, Looker, and Sara Colb & the Sagamore James Band. The show's at 8 p.m. and the cover is only $7.

Skateaway, and That's All
Friday nights mean public skates on the ice at the Jim Roche Arena in West Roxbury. This session includes an ice-side deejay, and rental skates are available for $5. Admission, too, is $5.

The JP Forum welcomes author and speaker Charles Eisenstein on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 4 p.m. at First Church UU, JP.
