- On Saturday, Ben & Jerry's 2013 Boston Fair Trade Music Festival featuring the Ryan Montbleau Band and The Off Chance will take place at the Boylston Plaza at the Shops at Prudential Center from 2 to 7 p.m. This is a FREE show and samples from Ben & Jerry's Fair Trade flavors will be offered all afternoon. - Also on Saturday, Susan McCann, Ireland's First Lady, will be singing live in West Roxbury on Saturday night - and tickets are still available. McCann, with more than a million in album sales, is from Co. Armagh in the North of Ireland, and will be with her band at the Irish Social Club of Boston on Park Street on Saturday night. Click here to pay $20 for tickets, or $25 at the door. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. and The Silver Spears are also playing, and there will be dancing, too!
- On Sunday is the Corey Street Farmers Market, as it continues its first season. Tupperware Fridge Smarts, Amir's Natural Foods, Se' Doos: Creator of Doos P.K., and fresh produce from the farmers of Silverbrook Farm will be available. The volunteers from Temple Hillel B'nai Torah will also be back selling organic honey, fair trade chocolates, olive oil from the Israeli-Palestinian women's co-op in the Gallilee, and gently-used CDs. The market is from 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at 120 Corey Street, the temple's parking lot.
