I strenuously disagree the prior reviewer. Our four year old, very outgoing and physically active son attends this school; and we are *very* pleased with the program, his development and his teachers. There is ample play time in a large, beautiful playground as well as time for singing, dance and creative/imaginative play within this gently structured Montessori program. Our son has blossomed and grown in ways that we couldn't have imagined, and he absolutely loves his school, his teachers and his classmates. We are proud to be a part of this community, and pleased to recommend it to all children, and especially to active and strong-willing boys.

This school is NOT for three and four year old boys. It appears that the new Director has preconceived notions regarding what type of child fits the mold for Montessori work, and active boys that tend to crave physical activity, outside or pretend play are not welcome in the classroom. Its critical to assess the temperment of your child critically prior to considering this school. If your child is strong-willed or active, this is not the school for you. In addition, do note that although this program includes an after school program and purports to include a child care environment, this is simply not the case. The Montessori work continues throughout the day. Individual needs are not as much of a concern as the needs of the community aspect of the classroom. Please evaluate this program with a critical eye.

I am very pleased with this school. Our son has grown in leaps in bounds here. We're very lucky to have found such a good place for him to start.
