Brook Farm Historic Site

The site is listed on the National Historical Landmark registry and is comprised of fields, woods andMore wetlands. Many people may recall Brook Farm as the location for the experimental society of Transcendentalists in the 1840s. It is also the former training ground of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry of the Civil War, made famous from the movie "Glory." 

Tours are offered through organizations including the West Roxbury Historical Society. The entrance is shared with The Gardens at Gethsemane cemetery.

Charles River Church is now meeting at the Boston School of Modern Languages: 814 South St Roslindale, MA 02131. The Church is now meeting at 6 p.m. and no longer at 10 a.m.

During Sunday service, chilren may enjoy the River Kids program, which is a regilious service specifically tailored to be a fun and engaging experience for kids from kindergarten to the fifth grade. This church hosts casual study groups in and around West Boston. Churchgoers gather socialize and discuss the week's sermon.

The Charles River Church actively engages in community service, hosting and running community outreach and service programs with the Washington Street Housing Authority.
