Restaurant News from Taste of West Roxbury and More

Restauranteurs weren't only dishing out food, they were also dishing out plans for new locations, restaurant features and more.

  Dishing dishes of fish is not on everyone's wishlist. But sometimes fish is what folks prefer, when it comes to West Roxbury food fare. Meat and potatoes, and vegetarian options are great, too. Oh, what the hey, put it all in one place, and let me choose.   Loose lips in the food business do not sink ships, in fact, it's quite the opposite, as having a buzz about your bistro, pizza place, or cafe, is wonderful to any owner's ears. At West Roxbury Main Streets' 1st annual Taste of West Roxbury, not only were folks talking about how spectacular and enjoyable the event was - still while eating - but the restauranteurs were dishing on their menus, locations and more. Support West Roxbury Businesses at the Taste of Dedham

Enjoy some of Dedham's finest food on Thursday, and enjoy some West Roxbury and Roslindale food, too.

New York, Schmork. Boston and our surrounding neighborhoods are becoming known for being food destinations. There's the Taste of Roslindale and on Thursday is Taste Dedham. Of course, West Roxbury restaurants are involved in Taste Dedham, just as they are with the Taste of Roslindale. The question remains - when are we going to have a Taste of West Roxbury? But let's talk about Taste Dedham first. The Dedham Rotary Club is hosting Taste Dedham on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at Moseley's on the Charles, 50 Bridge St., Dedham. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
