Catholic Memorial Falls to Boston College High School in Semi-Finals

Catholic Memorial loses, 53-56 to BC High in the South Sectional Tournament Semi-Finals.

In a hard-fought battle, Catholic Memorial School loses to Boston College High in the semi-finals of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Tournament South division 53-56.  Captain Matt Droney for the Knights led all scorers with 25 points, but it wasn't enough to compete with the Eagles' Mike Corcoran and Jameilen Jones' second half play with 8 and 15 points, respectively. "They worked us the whole game and deserve to win," said Droney. "They beat us in all asepcts and played a good game." With only three graduating seniors, the Knights are still strong enough to contend next year with Droney playing as a senior.  Plays from freshman Aamahne Santos looked promising as well, with the team's second most total points with 9…
