Celtics' Jeff Green Unveils New Computer Lab at Kilmer School in West Roxbury

Students were also taught financial literacy lessons by TD Bank volunteer instructors.

Boston Celtic Jeff Green recently visited the Kilmer K-8 School to unveil a new technology lab. Students were joined by members of the Boston Celtics CommUNITY Crew and TD Bank Store Manager Sean O’Brien to show the kids a brand new, state-of-the-art technology lab on March 28. The students participated in computer activities followed by a short speaking program to the entire school about the importance of education and technology. In addition to the lab update, TD Bank Wow!Zone volunteer instructors taught financial literacy lessons to nine different classrooms of 4th to 8th graders. West Roxbury YMCA Teens Go & See Celtics Beat the Heat

West Roxbury YMCA Teens, staff and family members received free tickets courtesy of Dunkin' Donuts.

I can still hear the roar of the crowd as Lebron James fouled out of the game in the last seconds of overtime. At last night's Game 4 of the Celtics versus the Heat playoff series, the West Roxbury YMCA Teens erupted in excitement. On Friday, the West Roxbury YMCA received tickets from Dunkin' Donuts to sit in the Kid Zone. We were able to invite eight teenagers and 13 family members (some who had never been to a Celtics game). The teens and I hopped aboard our Y van and headed to the Garden. We got in and headed for our seats (which were awesome), we sat down and the game started. Poll: Celtics vs. Heat - Who Will Win Eastern Conference Finals?

Game 2 is on Wednesday night in Miami, with the Heat up 1-0 in the series. Let's go Celtics!

The underdog Boston Celtics square off against the Miami Heat tonight at 8:30 p.m. in Game 2 of the NBA Eastern Confernce Finals. The Heat took Game 1 after pulling away in the fourth quarter. Both teams are beaten up with injuries, with the Heat's power forward Chris Bosh being out for several games; and the Celtics are without upstart shooting guard Avery Bradley, whose shoulders were both operated on last week.  Kevin Garnett has looked like he drank a fountain of youth potion during much of this postseason, and Rajon Rondo has notched several triple-doubles. But do the #4-seeded Celtics have enough to beat the heavily favored #2-seeded Miami Heat?

Yeah, Austin! I totally think Game 2 was affected by the refs calling it for the Heat. Some of those calls, like in Game 1 were phantom, or just because the NBA wants Lebron and Wade to win. Good predictions.   more ›
