July 4 is the last day to take the Boston Public Schools online surveys for improving school choice. More than 2,000 people have taken the surveys, according to school officials. Through community meetings since March, schools officials have gathered feedback about school choice, which has been added to the above website, with analysis like this: Participants from Charlestown, Downtown, parts of North Dorchester, the North End, East Boston (in forums) and West Roxbury tended to ask for the ability to choose a school in their neighborhood.
