West Roxbury woman allegedly broke into her ex-girlfriend's home in Brookline with a gun.
A West Roxbury woman got caught after breaking into her ex-girlfriend's apartment in Brookline yesterday that led Brookline Police to seek for a search warrant that resulted in the seizure of heavy-duty guns, ammunition and heroin at 225 Baker Street in West Roxbury. Brookline Police caught Elaine McCants, of 225 Baker St., West Roxbury, on River Road in Brookline with a gun around 5 p.m. She was arrested and charged with breaking and entering in the day to commit a felony, unarmed robbery, malicious damage, threatening to commit a crime, and possessing a gun without identification. An executed search warrant at apartment 44 at 225 Baker Street early this morning led to police seizing a Masterpiece Arms Tec-9 9mm pistol with a silencer, other firearms, and 31 grams of heroin. No one was arrested, but complaints will be sought against an unnamed individual in the West Roxbury District Court for assorted firearm and drug charges, according to a Boston Police report. 83-year-old woman found unharmed in West Roxbury on Sunday one day after she went missing.
An 83-year-old Brookline woman suffering from Alzheimer's, who went missing on Saturday, was found unharmed in West Roxbury on Sunday by Boston Police. Anna Burdenko, who was last seen in Coolidge Corner, who went missing on Saturday, from her Mason Terrace home in Brookline, was transported to Faulkner Hospital for evaluation. She was met at the hospital by her family. Brookline Police tweeted their thanks to the Boston Police and media for their help with this case. Brookline Police are looking for an 83 year-old woman who suffers from Alzheimer’s. Anna Burdenko, 5’ 4”, with a thin build, grey hair, and no bottom teeth, speaks very little English.
