12-Year-old West Roxbury Boy Plays at Carnegie Hall
Peter Wang's dream of playing at the world renown Carnegie Hill in NYC came true on May 6, 2012.
It didn't take long for 12-year-old Peter Wang to deliver on a 2011 West Roxbury Patch prediction that he would one day play piano at Carnegie Hall. It only took him a little longer than a year! Wang's mother, Diana, wrote to West Roxbury Patch, about her son's awesome accomplishment, "My name is Diana Wang. You wrote an article about my son Peter Wang on July 10, 2011 after his overall winning in South Shore Conservatory's Piano Solo Competition."
