Get Down at Ethos' 8th Annual Senior Prom on Thursday

Senior citizens are welcome to attend the Senior Prom tomorrow noon to 3 p.m. at the Irish Social Club on Park Street.

  Are you a senior citizen looking for some fun tomorrow? Maybe you're mother, father, grandmother or great aunt is looking for some fun - so check out Ethos' annual Senior Prom. Ethos in celebrating Older Americans Month with its annual Senior Prom featuring lunch, dancing and door prizes. This year’s theme is “A Night in Paris,” so please wear your best night-on-the-town or Paris-inspired attire. A: In a recent National Public Radio story, a reporter asked people on the street if they had noticed their payroll tax cut. Most people said “No.” People seemed confused between the payroll tax cut, and an income tax cut. Not everyone knew what the payroll tax was. The purpose of the payroll tax cut - which came to be called a “holiday” — was to stimulate Americans to buy more goods and services.
