Salons across the Greater Boston area raised money on Sunday for the Emergency & Trauma Fund at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Lord's & Lady's Hair Salons participated in a HAIRraising event this past Sunday, raising money for the Emergency & Trauma Fund at Boston Children's Hospital. Onhand for the event included Boston EMS employees, Boston Police, and Lord Mayor Richie Gormley (who didn't get his haircut). All of the funds raised were to go to the Children's Hospital fund. "I'm extremely proud of my team at Lord's & Lady's for volunteering their time and expertise in this cut-a-thon fundraiser. The first zipcar location in West Roxbury is at the Lord's and Lady's parking lot ready for when you need wheels.
West Roxbury has its first zipcar location so you can now get "wheels when you want them." The first car is in the Lord's & Lady's Hair Salons parking lot - a Mini Cooper. Zipcars are available to rent for anyone of legal age to rent a car. You can rent it for as short as one hour or as long as four days. You pick it up at Lord's & Lady's and drop it off at Lord's & Lady's. You do have to join zipcar at www.zipcar.com, get a swipe card which allows you to access the car.
