West Roxbury's Lowry Named Vice President of Medical Affairs for Norwood Hospital
Lowry will be responsible for the hospital’s medical care, medical staff affairs, patient safety, and quality. He's also a veteran of the Navy.
West Roxbury's Matthew Lowry, MD, MBA, has been named Norwood Hospital's Vice President for Medical Affairs. Lowry is now responsible for the hospital’s medical care, medical staff affairs, patient safety, and quality. Dr. Lowry has served as medical director for the Intensive Care Unit since 2007, where he has been "very involved with the hospital’s quality initiatives," according to a press release. “We are very pleased to have Dr. Lowry with his very strong clinical and management skills serve the hospital in this new capacity,” said John Holiver, Norwood Hospital president.
